Job Description

Our retail client is looking for an Art Director with 5+ years' experience for an immediate three month contract. This campaign will include working on broadcasts, emails, social, paid media, website product retouching and web content, OOH, print and the occasional internal projects. Experience with Adobe XD required for this role.

• Working on campaigns aross broadcast, websites, social channels, emails, and paid, as well as print assets, OOH and signage
• Assist with production and support Creative Director and creative team in a fast paced environemtn.
• Work closely with copy, ecommerce and merchandising to ensure consistency on messaging.
• Ensure all-around consistency in voice, tone and brand
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
• Produce sketches, storyboards, rough sketches to visualize ideas
• Develop and maintain an understanding of marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and our audiences
• Work with the art department to create original graphic content for the company s website, social media pages and other marketing materials
• Manage multiple projects for yourself and those that you are mentoring
• Review graphic materials to assess their validity and appropriateness for our brand and provide feedback when edits are needed
• Responsible for the growth of designers, providing feedback, direction, training, and coaching
• Maintain graphic consistency across all deliverables
• Collaborate with the rest of the creative and advertising teams across different types of mediums

Required Qualifications

• Background in design and advertising for retail, home furnishings or similar industry is a must
• Previous experience with 360 advertising campaigns (including broadcast campaigns)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating an ability to develop ideas with exceptional design quality through a broad range of print and digital channels (will not consider applicants without an online portfolio)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, persuasive in presenting ideas to internal teams
• Able to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines
• Critical eye for detail and strong organizational skills
• Comprehensive awareness of current and emerging design and technology trends
• A creative thinker, able to bring fresh ideas to all design challenges
• At least 6+ years of experience of Graphic Design, preference given for retail, furniture or fashion experience
• Experience with In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and some HTML/CSS.
