Role: Snowflake Developer with AWS

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration : Long-term

Technical Skills Required:

1. Snowflake Expertise:

• Modeling (roles, databases, schemas).
• Query and database performance tuning.
• Administration and data ingestion into Snowflake.

Cloud & Data Technologies:

• Migration to AWS Snowflake platform.
• Integration with third-party tools.
• Data warehousing and lakes (Hadoop, Spark).
• SQL-based databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).

Programming & ETL:

• Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript.
• ETL/ELT tools and processes.
• Managing XML, JSON, CSV datasets.

Advanced Analytical Skills:

• Building analytical solutions and models.
• Root cause analysis and performance troubleshooting.

Soft Skills Required:

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Effective project management and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Innovative thinking and organizational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Development & Implementation:

• Create enterprise-level apps with Snowflake.
• Design identity, access management, and authorization frameworks.
• Develop and monitor data models and pipelines (ETL/ELT).

Migration & Optimization:

• Migrate on-premises solutions to cloud platforms.
• Optimize queries, ensure scalability, and solve performance issues.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Coordinate with BI analysts and teams.
• Maintain project documentation and enhance existing data models.

Testing & Maintenance:

• Prepare and execute test cases.
• Perform regular audits, risk management, and ensure data confidentiality.
