Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Come and join our team as a Diagnostic Radiographer - Multi-modality Tech Assistant for a Full-Time Flex (30-40 hours/week), dayshift position at our outpatient imaging center located in Huntsville, Alabama .

Must hold ARRT Licensure. Position will primarily be Technologist Assistant, with some X-Ray Scanning, as needed. We are a multi-modality outpatient center, offering: X-Ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density, and Fluoroscopy. This candidate will obtain exposure to all modalities and there will be cross-training opportunities available.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 9:30am-6:00pm. Opportunity to pick up additional hours, as available.

EXPERIENCE:

• Phlebotomy and IV access skills a plus.
• New graduate Radiologic Technologist encouraged to apply.

EDUCATION:

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiography or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Skill in operation of radiographic equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
• Ability to work efficiently as an extension of certified/registered staff or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
