Job Summary:
EHC Construction is a leading employee-owned company dedicated to excellence in all aspects of our operations. We are currently seeking a Dump Truck Driver who holds and maintains a  clean CDL A or CDL B Florida license. 

The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for operating the truck safely and professionally on public highways, roads, in the yard area, and at various job sites to deliver materials. The driver will conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting them in compliance with DOT guidelines. This skilled position requires the safe and efficient operation of trucks, and work will be performed according to the supervisor’s instructions. 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

• Checks fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls for safe operation.
• Keeps accurate log of deliveries and completes required paperwork for billing.
• Monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle.
• Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
• Unrolls truck tarp to cover loads when required.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment.
• Must keep vehicle in a clean and orderly condition.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• A minimum of four years of experience driving and transporting materials in the construction industry is required.  
• Must maintain a clean CDL A or CDL B license. Responsible for keeping all D.O.T. permits and copy of current regulations readily available.

Physical Requirements:
Job requires climbing, bending, squatting, sitting/driving, bending, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, work, ability of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking. and covering/uncovering load when applicable. Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to focus.
