Job Description

: Reporting to the Associate Director of Outbound Communications, we are seeking an entrepreneurial , self-starting Content Manager with a successful track record of developing and deploying HCP-focused content strategy and social media. The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated self-starter experienced in developing content strategy and creating a wide range of HCP-facing content, including but not limited to, social media posts, copywriting, video creation, blog posts, newsletters, video scripts, and patient/clinician testimonials.

This role is responsible for the development of the Cleveland Diagnostics (CDx) and IsoPSA content strategy, oversees the daily operations and execution of CDx's social media accounts, and creates content for Omnichannel distribution. This position works directly with our Marketing Communications, Omnichannel and Medical Marketing functions, focused on creating content that aligns with their campaigns while delivering increased audience engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and drive organizational goals, strategy, and tactics, including the development of content strategies and associated editorial calendars—aligned and synced with the content calendars of major endemic advertising partners—to propel engagement with CDx.
  • Research and recommend potential new channel outlets and partnerships for content distribution, including evaluating vendors for SEO, content strategy, and other digital marketing opportunities to expand audience reach and engagement.
  • Manage CDx & IsoPSA social media platforms, audits, analyses, and migrations across multiple digital platforms.
  • Monitor competitor activity across social and endemic channels
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to manage the strategic planning, implementation, analysis, and optimization of content for all digital channels and campaigns.
  • Conduct industry-related research to create informative and engaging content that aligns with our brand's voice and objectives.
  • Create content strategy roadmaps (including social media) that supports business needs and growth goals.
  • Define, establish and manage metrics to measure the effectiveness of content solutions including ROI, content accuracy and relevance, efficiencies gained in content lifecycle improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools to gauge effectiveness and inform future content strategies.
  • Craft narratives that effectively communicate our brand story, product benefits, and the impact of our prostate cancer test, IsoPSA, on patient care.
  • Provide content strategy recommendations to local market teams based on insight from sales, content analysis, site audits, competitive assessments, market research, and metrics.
  • Provide orchestration among team members, leadership, key stakeholders and internal teams and vendors/partners to ensure content is successfully delivered ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Manage content inventories, audits, analyses, and migrations across multiple digital platforms.
  • Creates compelling social campaigns and partnerships that combine content with influencer collaborations and expand our reach in the markets we support.
  • Develop high-quality, compelling content across multiple digital platforms, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and websites.
  • Work with Medical Marketing on developing webinars, blog posts and educational content.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Display high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness.
  • Proven experience as a content strategist, creator, copywriter, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation, including video production, social media management, and copywriting.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Trends, SEMrush).
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience marketing to HCPs in the diagnostics, medical device or pharmaceutical industry is strongly desired.
  • Ability to use graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for content creation and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or HubSpot CMS).
  • Understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Marketo) to align content with campaigns.
  • Competency with social media scheduling and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social).
