Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Sewickley

• Start Date:  mid/end January 2025
• Hours:

Option A:   Monday to Friday, 4-hour daily shifts between 2 pm - 6 pm (preferred) or open to 1 pm - 5 pm; guaranteed 20 hours/week

Option B: Monday to Friday, 12 pm - 6 pm, guaranteed 30 hours/week; additional household duties required for this schedule

• Hourly Rate: $29/hr
• Children: 2.5 year old
• Pets: Black Lab
• Paid Vacation: 20-30 hours family’s choice, 20-30 hours nanny’s choice, 2-3 paid holidays; PTO prorated to guaranteed hours
• Up-To-Date Vaccinations Required (Tdap, Covid, Flu)

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Does your resume demonstrate a proven history of longevity? This lovable family of three is looking for a hat-trick nanny: predictable, experienced, and available to start soon! Both of these first-time parents work from home and need a partner to help in a hybrid role that could last for years to come, but definitely until September 2025. You’ll work Monday to Friday in either a four or 6-hour shift that can be flexible based on your preference. Your focus will be on the family’s adorable 2.5 year old who will wake from her afternoon nap around 3/3:30 pm. You’ll think every day is Halloween because this tiny Swiftie loves to dress up in costumes, crank up the tunes, and dance her heart out! As trust grows, you’ll also head out on adventures exploring the local area. During downtime, you’ll help keep things organized and assist with the family’s laundry, dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, light dinner prep, and pet care. If you opt for the extended hours (30 hours/week), there will be additional expected household duties while the little lady naps. The senior lab is a sweetheart! She’ll require water, dinner, and the occasional bathroom break. These hockey fans are hoping to draft the Sidney Crosby of nannies to their team ASAP, so if you’re ready to move fast then APPLY TODAY!

The Ideal Nanny IS…RELIABLE! Excuses are for players in the penalty box, and you’re a trustworthy, polished, and predictable person with high integrity. Mom and Dad are both professionals who deeply value a schedule and want someone who’ll show up and be enthusiastically helpful. As a seasoned nanny, you’ve worked for multiple families with young children, staying with most of them for at least a year. Communicative, kind, and personable, you give and receive feedback with grace, read the room, and adapt without a fuss. For the right nanny, these hours can potentially expand in the future. Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
