Senior JavaScript Developer (React and AWS) Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Senior JavaScript Developer with a focus on React and AWS to enhance our dynamic team. This position is perfect for an innovative developer skilled in crafting complex web applications and thriving in a team-oriented environment. Your role will be crucial in influencing the backbone of our product line, driving the creation of scalable and robust applications. As an integral part of our team, your deep knowledge of React and AWS will be essential in delivering outstanding solutions centered around user needs.

Responsibilities

• Engineer sophisticated web applications utilizing React
• Facilitate backend support through integration with AWS services
• Direct the planning and execution of project features
• Work in tandem with UI/UX designers to perfect application designs
• Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and sustainable code
• Troubleshoot and solve issues related to performance and scalability
• Continuously refine and upgrade existing web applications
• Offer technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers
• Keep abreast of new trends and technologies in web development
• Adhere to and advocate for security best practices throughout all stages of the application development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a similar field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in JavaScript development
• Proficiency in developing and deploying applications using React and AWS
• Expertise in managing application states with tools like Redux or Flux
• Strong command of TypeScript to construct type-safe applications
• Advanced capability in HTML/CSS to develop responsive and cross-browser compatible interfaces
• Proficiency in unit testing with Jest, Karma, or Mocha to maintain high code quality
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt for effective asset management
• Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts

Nice to have

• Experience in server-side rendering with React
• Familiarity with additional cloud services such as Google Cloud or Azure to expand deployment options
• Knowledge of contemporary DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
