At Security 1st Title, we provide Title Insurance and Escrow Services for customers buying, selling, and refinancing their homes. We protect property rights through the careful examination of each property history to ensure they are free of liens and other title defects. Position Details – Title Specialist 

The Title Specialist is responsible for assisting the Title Department and handle administrative tasks associated with issuing title insurance commitments. Essential functions include:

  • Maintaining files and documents
  • Sending out correspondence
  • Researching records
  • Preparing title-related documents
  • Handling product distribution tasks
  • Performing clerical duties such as filing, faxing, mailings, etc.
  • Assisting Title Department staff with other administrative tasks as needed
  • Accurately entering data that includes customer and business-related information
  • Communicating effectively with customers, vendors, office staff and other business partners
  • Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on occasion as needed
  • The ability to obtain a State of Kansas Title Insurance License is required within your first 6 months of employment – the company will provide assistance if needed
  • Previous office experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of related work experience is preferred
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Google Suite and/or Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Dependability, strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full time, Experience Required
